As a basic question, With EV's coming into view, how long do you think GM will offer the LM2 in the future on the Tahoe/Yukon format? 2yrs? 5yrs?

Probably until the end of life for this series, anyway. All the up front costs are baked in already.

Well the same could be said for the FCA and Ford diesels, but they mostly pulled them from the lineup…
Diesels are mostly viewed negatively, especially after the VW fiasco.

Pressure is going to mount yearly to push towards EV’s…..

If I thought the LM2 format was leaving say 2023 or 24, I possibly could be convinced to get a new one, even though I may not need a new one, to get one of the last ones available. I’m saying by 25 there won’t be a light duty diesel on the market anywhere for SUV’s especially and possibly for half tons too, if vehicles like the Lightning pan out as it looks like they will….
