How does the trunk come apart?

My little drop flap dingus things need to be re adhered. Not super obvious how the molding they attach to comes off but there is no space do do it with the thing on

That is part of the hatch glass, pop the glass open, remove the defroster clips, remove the gas cylinders (the clip lifts up and the end comes off the ball), then look close at the hinge slider pins, one side of each hinge has a retainer-pin/clip, take the clips off and then slide the glass off.
if memory serves me right the 3rd brake light is attached to the body so there should be nothing else in the way to remove the glass

***it may be advisable to take hinge retainer clips off first if you are doing this by yourself with no helper, that way your not stuck trying to hold the glass up to take the clips off

installation is the reverse, don't forget to put the clips back on

it's easier than it looks, you can have that glass off in a couple minutes tops

Had myself a right derp moment. Didn't realize that entire thing was part of the rear glass. I never open it so I just didn't process it was possible it was connected. LOL

Thanks for the help. Went off without a hitch. **** scraping that adhesive off though
