How cold is it where you are today?

People tend to forget that it gets cold there

That's because it's this cold a few days every 5-10 years. Otherwise we have July, August, and September with multiple, if not contiguous, 100+ degree days...

-9F in Chitcago western suburbs. Not too much wind luckily, but my guess is it feels more like -12F.

Couldn't help but laugh. I passed a tesla today on the tollway and all the occupants were dressed up in winter gear, ear muffs, etc. Meanwhile I was TOO warm in my fossil fuel burning, world wrecking, diesel service truck.

All I can say is condensation is way better than some of the other fluids they could freeze up from. Just sayin'...

It was -7° last night, but -1° this morning when I got up; a good sign. We are starting to get a veritable heat wave, as it's now 23° and rising. I hope we can bump above the freezing point today!

Yes, there is a lot of snow. And it crunches nicely under your feet when you walk. But when driving on a winter highway, a lot of it sticks to the car. And on the suspension elements)))) The most painful thing is the rear bumper, a monstrous amount of snow falls out of there)
