I bought Silver Stars (I think that is what they are called) and I was as happy with their brightness but they did not blind everyone else and no warm up times.

I would also check out vvme.com I have ran both vvme and ddm and havent had an issue. I find that vvme has quicker shipping and always in stock of bulbs/ballast

First and foremost what housings are you putting said "hid" bulbs in. If they are not an HID specific projector then do not buy. As you will be that a$$ that blinded everyone and look like a moron. You don't want to be "that guy" as I tend walk very close to cars with blinder lights and make sure my keys on my hip make contact.,,

You may think you can see better or it's the "cool" thing but you are actually causing a hazard to other drivers and they are NOT Dot legal and you can be ticketed if they are not in the correct housing..

Hey thnx guys, so jdpber I haven't much knowledge of HID stuff so I was actually just going to install the HID kit into the stock headlight casing. But im guessing by what u said, thatll be a bad move. Going back to the headlight bulbs i linked, are those a good alternative? Personally, if i can go without HID i would. but i would still like better visibilty and a better hue of the lights. what do u guys think?

Thnx

I think that the Philips XPS2 X-treme power bulbs have a higher lumen output value

I have had mine for about 9 months now I think. Still going strong.

I took pictures and posted them around here somewhere........

They have a warranty....... hang on to the receipt as they are said to not last long. The light is visibly whiter and looks pleasing. The throw is somewhat affected however.

I do long for a retro fit though.
