Yeah I thought so the texture from the first pic looks like a gloss/matte finish so I was puzzled.

What was the final verdict on the Tritons?

They were too big to fit the holes in the back up....... so you returned?

You had the clear ones right?

Were they really bright?

I had no luck with the Tritons as reverse bulbs, they just wouldn't fit through the socket of the Escalade tail lamp. However v-leds sent me a picture of an esky tail lamp of someone who managed it, I just have no idea how. I never turned them on myself, but all the reports say they are insanely bright. There is apparently a flaw with them they're trying to fix, but it has to do with overheating ... so it's only relevant if one's running them as drl/park/fogs, not an issue as reverse light as they don't stay on long enough to overheat.

Well, unless one decides to drive in reverse for an extended amount of time THEN you'd be SOL! With this said Nathan should not buy these for sure! He LOVES reverse
