Okay I'll look into it. I must confess I've had terrible luck with autolumination with their products constantly failing, and then having to get into arguments with them with them telling me I did something wrong and they won't replace a faulty product, even when it was faulty out of the box, so I don't use them any more.

Never had a single v-led bulb fail to date. But that may just be random luck as most of these bulbs are made in factories within a stone's throw from each other in China.

But I guess it won't hurt to have those protectors there, so I might as well.

Thanks. :)

Had a single bad V-LED's bulb for the interior right out of the package (212 replacement), other than that zero failures and that includes the DRL's from 2 years ago. Never used any protector.

Wow Serge you got parts ordered up quick.
I hope you scooped some LED protectors for those DRLs or they will be all blown within month due to the high voltages the DRL power supply sees upon start up on a sunny day.

Why not just pull the DRL fuses? Ive always pulled them first thing on any new chevy ive had, theyre annoying.

Yeah one can do that too but then you won't have DRLs, which can cause issues in low visibility conditions. I only kept my DRLs because I installed colored LED bulbs in place of the old stock bulbs and it looks real good, especially on cloudy days.

Felix, how did you swap the center console lid?

I see four screws and a retaining spring ... is it as simple as unscrewing them and it pops off?

Damn ... nvm then. :poker:

open the lid, unscrew the 6 (i think) screws holding the black plastic plate on, pull off, then you'll see the screws holding the hinge to the lid

:Handshake:
