Another update. Brought the car to the dealer and they told me this is normal. Haha. What a joke. Anyways , I read on other forums that cutting the Crankshaft Position Sensor Replicated Signal wire is the solution. Anyone ever try or heard of this? I’m gonna take us to car audio one to dollar and see what they say. They can’t do anything I’m gonna take this sub out.
I am not so sure about cutting crankshaft position sensor wire.
For the limited knowledge I have, that actually works as a distributor for the engine to fire.
I believe that is very bad advice.

Yeah I agree that’s why I’m gonna try out that bypass harness so I don’t have to do any hacking.

I meant cutting from the bose connector. It’s part of the ANC system. If you look at the schematic you will see all the mics and other things associated with the active noise cancellation. Anyhow I’m not cutting anything lol

UPDATE. finally got rid of it. The ANC bypass harness was all it took. Take in mind these harnesses are hand made when ordered so it will take a few days or so depending on number of orders ahead of you. $19 after taxes solved my headache.

Cutting that purple wire does the same thing. And basically the dealer did not disable ANC if that harness fixed it. Hope you didn't pay them anything or else I would be asking for my money back.

Yeah, I figured they didn’t do it correctly because they said they did. To actually disable the ANC, the dealer has to call TCSC to have the calibration changed. Then they have to install it using their scan tool. I’m sure something went wrong during the process. But they did install the subwoofer so no use in asking for a refund. Just going remind them the tech who did it didn’t do it right.
