ok so i have 2 options I found on Craigslist not sure if im gonna do either but really wanting to!

1) 285-70-17 Bfg KM2's with MB V-drive wheels tires have 10-12/32 of tread for 550...

2) 315-70-17 Bfg all terrain (comes with h2 wheels that id try and resell) tires have @ 8-10/32 of tread 500. If i bought these they would be going on my stock avalanche wheels

So heres the dilemma i dont go offroading much so i was kinda wanting an all terrain and i know the km2's ride like shoot and are loud! But im on keys and 2" spacers(in the mail) and i think a 315/70 may be just to big of a tire for my setup.

So opinions on what i should go with... a bigger all terrain or the right size mud tire for the city car... or just keep my 265/70 BFG rugged trails

Id go with an AT. I have bfg at's on my tahoe and do more city than off road. They are a great all round tire, and work well. The MT's are nice too but BFG mt's dont get that great traction in the wet since they have no sipes. I have 33" swampers on my CJ, and I daily drive it time to time. The tires humming is cool but every day I think it would get to me a bit.

I was able to fit 285/75/16 Michelins on my Kon. No lift, no key spacers. One of the fronts used to rub the wheel well in reverse. Only occasionally anymore. 315's I think would be too big, but its a Avalanche, so I don't know.

i don't even notice the noise from my km2's. yes the noise is there but i don't mind it. and they don't ride like shit either imo. never had traction problems in the rain with em either
