Hello everyone, I'm not new to the forum but it has been about 6 years since I've been on. I had a 1997 Yukon GT that was supercharged, but ended up selling it. Now I'm back and have a 2000 Tahoe. I was told that it was originally built for SEMA and that the wheels were one-off just for the build. I'm not sure if it is true or how to verify, the guy I bought it from said that was the story he got when he bought it.

It has sat for roughly two years, now I'm going through and trying to fix the things that are wrong.

Welcome back. I love Yukon GTs but she's looking good too. Will the wheels polish up?

I don't know if it's my monitor or what, but I can't tell if they're dirty or painted gray. It's screwing with my feeble mind. I'm thinking they're painted by how smooth their color is. Oxidized billets usually don't have such a uniform finish.

I just got a good look--to me-- now they look painted.

Thanks everyone, it is in pretty good shape. A lot of the bushings are shot in the suspension, so I'll be replacing those. I believe it has the DJM rear sway bar links, as those are the only offset ones I have found. The passenger side needs replaced as it is completely broke.

They are definitely painted. Been debating about stripping them, but I like the current look as well.
