I have a 2018 Tahoe ppv. I’m replacing the plastic crap wheel with a leather one. This has the heated option. In order to use that feature, do I have to add anything else it is there a wire tucked in there somewhere so I can just plug it in?

I ordered the parts to change this from GMPartsStore.

Clock spring for 2018+ w/ heated steering wheel PN: 84186645

Look under the knee baluster and verify you have the female plug for the clock spring built in.
Took about 45mins when following along with the video of the "Tinkering Fox" guy on youtube doing it on his Sierra.

I was wondering if I had to change the clock spring or not. I watched one video but they never showed THAT process. One scene the old one was there, next scene, the new one was installed
