Headrest question

so this is my head unit i have installed in my 2012 Hoe. Pioneer AVIC-F900BT. im trying to find a GOOD SET OF HEAD REST MONITORS AT A DESCENT PRICE. MY QUESTION IS? how do i know if i can play a DVD in my headunit to the monitors and still play the ipod . in other words, yo gabba gabba to the headrest and whater to the speakers?
