Checked the gas cap. That gasket and neck is dirty. Will clean it and try again.

The steering wheel always sat off to the right a little so I took the airbag off, pulled the wheel and set it back on one spline left. Now its centered. Car drives nice and straight with no weird tire wear so I will call it good to go.

Just got done ordering the front exhaust pipe with the flex joint. It is leaking at a bracket clamp to support it and fills the cabin with fumes. Thats $100 delivered. Hope I can get everything apart.

A little example of how daily driving a vehicle that has sat a long time improves how they run. There were no part replacements involved in this improvement. Only driving it like I stole it every day.

Well it was time to change the front exhaust pipe that had the leak. Amazingly I got the manifold flange off without the torch but I did soak it down twice when hot with PB blaster. I had to make a new mounting bracket because it was welded to the section of pipe that I need to slip the new pipe over so I welded some round bar to the clamp I was going to use.

Did a crank position relearn and reset the trans adapts. Then a cylinder balance test. Is good, no?

I'd say 308-322 HP per cylinder is good enough.

Thats without the AC on. The HP drops if fast with that on!
