Gauges not working, and service tpms and park assist + key fobs not working

07 yukon xl slt, 5.3

The key fobs stopped working.

Then the gauges work intermittenly for a bit after starting ( read correct then drop down to 0 as if the vehicle was off, then back up and back down) and then they will work normally after a few minutes (including speedometer and tachometer)

also Im getting all warning lights on until the gauges start to work normally then all go away except for service tire pressure monitor system, and service parking assist.


this all happened at once. What the heck is going on here?

Have you tested the battery? Sounds like the battery might've bit the dust.

clean up the battery connections, remove, clean and put them back on even if they look ok from the outside, you might be surprised what hides under the metal.

Connections issues for sure. Bad ground? Connector under the dash to the instrument cluster loose? Battery cables? Starter cable? Ignition switch? Start going over it with a fine toothed comb…
