I think most agree that 89 octane is the sweet spot for these trucks. When I run 89/91 I get an average of 16mpg. E85 I get 12. I only drive short trips in the city with four 20 mile highway trips a month. My gf is 9 miles away in stop and go traffic. Grocery store is 3 miles from me. I work 100% remote. I leave my apartment 2-3 times a week for beer runs and cigars.

my 2011 PPV is seeing an average of 15mpg overall full to empty. When I fill it up with light on it stops at 23 gallons
1) did these suvs use smaller tanks
2) shouldn’t I be seeing better mpg?

I highway drive most of time. 90 miles round trip a day. Standard regular 87 octane on eagle RS-A and stock 17” cop wheels
pretty good i'm getting 18-21 around town 27 on the highway using a transmission glitch with the AFM module the glitch keeps it in EVT mode for longer time it has a infinity gear ratio it uses Sun and planet gears

I got some more Aero mods planned so i can get the mpg into the 35-40-mpg range on the highway

hey saves $$$
imagine getting 13 mpg and paying 6$ a gallon because of your horribly inefficient 4L65-E transmission...

when that shit is on the Highway it's GAS mode 100% of the time and in V8 mode only so the savings are at the transmission the electrical motors are pretty much doing nothing as the HV battery is completely spent, 14 years old ....

it's in the special 3rd mode (engine speed pegged at 1,000-1500 rpm) where the engine spins the electrical motor then spins the second motor which spins the drive shaft then wheels

if it had a brand new battery i would be easily doing 32-35mpg on the highway using the special 3rd mode...

Cool, get a replacement battery with the $$ saved on gas!
