fuel injector plug retainer clip

So I removed my injectors today to clean them and when removing the blue safety retainer clip thing off the harness I ended up breaking a few. The injector plugs themselves are fine and clip right on, so do I even need those safety retainers? I don't see how the plug could come off without depressing the tab on the side anyway, but if I do need them for some reason where can I get replacements? I can't for the life of me find them online anywhere.

You don't need them. I've never put them back.

Concur. Not really needed. I broke the two rear most clips on the driver side when installing my TBSS intake manifold. They are just an added protection.
