Front of '12 XL Denali, I wanted to ask this in the shock thread I have, but figure it's more specific if anyone needs to search.

Does the OE strut mount incorporate a bearing? If so, with 120K miles, I may just replace them as preventative maintenance. Otherwise, if no bearing is incorporated, then it doesn't make sense to replace them if they are in good shape, just the rubber spring seat.

My OE strut mount is GM 25940743, same # listed on Rockauto.

I don't believe it does. When I replaced my struts I reused the stock mounts because they were in good condition. If they were rusty or looked like the holes were wallerd out I would replace them.

I replaced my upper mounts when I replaced my struts. I could have sworn that there was a bearing assembly within the top mount, though.
