Front screen operational in raised position

I just picked up my new yukon xl denali Friday, and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a hack or other way to override the screen to be visible/fully operational when in the open/ raised position. I see some messages still appear when raised. I would love to be able to have the video play in the raised position.
