I just swapped my 2012 Tahoe PPV for a 2018. You can nurse the driver's while it opens to make it open the "normal" amount, but usually opens up a complete 90 degrees. I imagine this wide open swing is a "feature" to ease entry/exit and to use as cover, but I hate it. Looking at the stop-rods (check strap) or whatever you call them, that controls the door's swing, the driver's door appears longer than the other three doors. Anyone "fix" this issue? Are those stop-rods interchangeable between the driver and passenger doors? Are they adjustable? I suppose I could just order the non-ppv version of the driver's door part.
