factory nav without bose issues

I just had a factory navigation screen, 4 channel amp, new door speakers,a mono block amp, and 2 12s installed in my 07 Tahoe without Bose and i have run into a few issues. First is that the navigation unit when viewing the map has the GPS with the slash through it and it does not move at all as I drive it just always says I'm facing the same direction at my house. Also there is no time displayed on the unit at all just a colon and when i try to set it it wont let me. Then i have a really bad whine coming from my speakers that fluctuates with the RPMs. I have heard it could possibly be a bad ground or wires too close, or possibly needing to use a different line out converter. Im taking a look at everything tonight with stevek but any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help.

where did you have it installed? Did you return to explain the new issues?

Maybe when I get you the new nav disc it'll fix something... I'll find a better ground too
