yeah, dual key fobs is a huge drawback

Only thing I can add is if the directed alarm is armed the truck won't start, so if you left the keyless fob hidden in the vehicle it wouldn't matter
and/or you could use one of those rf blocking sleeve's for added security.

Well this weekend I learned the factory alarm doesnt trigger when the windows get busted out. After all this technology you would think there would be a sound sensor to trigger when the window brakes and the alarm is armed.

Anyone know a good/easy system to look into. I'm thinking a 2 way alarm would be nice so I get notification when the alarm is going armed/disarmed/going off.

I have a 2018 Yukon Denali with the factory alarm upgrade and it triggered when the driver's side quarter glass was punched out. Resulted in a call n text from OnStar, too.
