CFC51C11-A8BA-411E-8D38-531F4C4FFFDF.jpeg So I’m getting ready to do the free travel mod and found this plate welded to the frame. It’s not on the other side so I found it odd. When we bought the car (used from dealer) they said it was in an accident on this side which is the passenger side. I can’t find anything indicating this is stock. Any ideas? Should I proceed with the free travel mod?CFC51C11-A8BA-411E-8D38-531F4C4FFFDF.jpeg1EA3F235-F8BA-4C38-B525-DE799F1721F4.jpeg FE6669F6-8095-4600-BA4B-AD844A6569C1.jpeg

judging by bends and welds...that is a factory piece. more likely a stiffener of some sort related tot he track bar bracket.

i will look at my 17 when i get home, but i dont see any issue with removal.

i will also being doing this same job SATURDAY this weekend ( 4-3-20221) on my brothers 2018 tahoe.

Yeah it looks stock to me based on welds and the hole in the bottom of the bracket. Just never seen mention of it before. Thinking about cutting up to that bracket only. I’ll post pics
