Excellent Service from VLEDs

So a few days ago I bought these.

5K Temp for $4.99 a pop.

Even though there are 5K, and supposed to be "whiter" in light than 6K, mine have turned the inside of the truck "bluer" than I would have liked.

Overall I was pleased with them, but what felt worse than the "blue" tinge was that fact that I spent $4.99 for a product that went on clearance soon after I bought it (literally the day I got them). I have bought all my LEDs from these guys over the months (license plate, back-ups, etc.).

So today I spoke with Jake over at VLEDs. Explained to him the situation and he was very understanding and helpful, said that they don't have a policy to match their own stuff after it goes on clearance, but would help me this time.

Said I could get a credit or have some more sent out to me. I chose to have the newer higher power ones sent out instead.

So really happy about this, and I got the newer ones coming out me today.

Do they sell a whole kit for the internal dome lights and such?

I think they do.

I bought individually though.

The thicker board is the one to get. It has the extra brass/copper in it. It feels heavier too.

Its 5000K light is brighter and whiter.

I can post pictures tomorrow.

The other ones seem to be holding up well and I do like them. They are a steal for 2.00 a pop.

Jacob. 07burb has them as well, and has reported that they are still working great.

I was thinking about buying some Arctic Alumina and adding my own heatsinks to the 2.00 ones. Just as added insurance.
