Where is the easiest and best place to run a power line through your firewall? Think guage wire for monitor installation.

Usually there is a grommet for the main wiring harness just below or tomthe side of the steering column.

Intend tonuse a pic to make a hole, the a hanger or welding rod (tig wire), to feed the wire.

I saw a previous post where someone pulled off the tape around the rubber boot and main wires. They used needle nose pliers to stretch open rubber boot and pushed wire through, Then re-taped. Not sure if that is any better than cutting a hole in the boot but looked to be water tight.
