I am going to swap out the radiator in my 2017 due to coolant in the trans fluid. However, before doing so, I wanted to check and make sure I didn't have a case of electrolysis going on. So I looked up the method in which to check, it stated to remove the radiator cap to access the fluid. Considering ther eis no cap directly on the radiator, I inserted the voltmeter positive probe into the reservoir, I didn't know if the readings would be incorrect because the reservoir is plastic?

BTW - the reading when stabilized was .2 which is below the stated threshold of .3.

Do you guys have any experience with testing for electrolysis?

Thanks,
Tim
