No.. i would be willing to be it could even SLOW DOWN airflow into the motor at certain speeds or rpms.. this product harps on people who dont know the sheer volume of air being pulled into an engine

Does this look familiar? http://www.wmjmarine.com/53-1900.html

The one that says 4lbs electric supercharger, well that how much the shipping weight is and not the performance. Its only a bilge blower for a boat and maybe can do 80 to 120 cfm. Your truck sucks in more air than that at idle. You would get better performance using a hairdryer. Save the cash. All so $115 for shipping is:insane:

OR there is an actual kit that you can buy that DOES push 15 PSI with electric. it uses a modded roots style blower with some other work to it

Ok...THE ACTUAL BLOWER to the motor is a test proven fact! It willl increase HP! DUHH your ramming air into the engine like an F/I application.

How can you compare a 8hp gas fed motor to 12V Electric S/C? Yes there is such thing as a Electric Blower but you realize how small they are and how much less HP they have?

Just a waste...surprised with your "knowledge" you would even post something like this.

When modding your TOY think of this....

YOU GOTTA PAY to PLAY!

Don't feel too bad there Davyboy. I went through the same line of thinking myself...
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7040
My thought process was;
- cool!
- dope!
- Damn, I wish that would work.

Although one good thing came form this. I found a site that sells shaved butterflies and ported throttle bodies.
http://marine-performance-parts.com/gm96vortec435057.aspx
So I saved $$ and had our garage shave the butterfly for me.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7263
And it works like a charm! I'm still looking for a spare TB for it to be ported for me.

Any thoughts about a furnace fan though?
