I recently bought my 02 Tahoe and the power locks won’t activate from the switch on the driver or passenger doors. They activate when put in drive or park but not on the switch. I’ve tried swapping relays with brand new ones with no results. I don’t have key fobs to test if they work. I haven’t pulled the door panels off yet to clean the plugs but outside of that I have no idea where else to look.

^^^^^ x2 As @Jason in DLH suggested, your next step should be to inspect the Door Lock and Window Switch assembly. Maybe it is something simple like contact cleaning, or the entire assembly may need to be replaced.

Thanks. I'll check that out tonight and hopefully it'll fix it. I'm tired of having to go behind and lock every door manually after I get somewhere
