ECU tune worth it if running 87 octane?

Any reviews out there on a ECU flash? Curious what benefits on my 6.0 while staying with 87 Octane.. Thanks

a trans tune would be felt most on a stock truck.

I had a 6.0 in a pickup that I tuned, doing it myself with HPT. There just wasn’t anything more of any significance to be found, not with 87, or even with premium. It would have needed some hardware to make more power. As @Scottydoggs suggested, I got most of my satisfaction in the trans tables, I was able to make myself happier with the shift timing and speeds. Not enough improvement frankly, that I’d ever want to pay someone for a tune.

I only did it because I already had all the tuning gear to work on some other vehicles.

Maybe not performance wise, but im sure economy wise there is something to be had.
