'ECO' Light

Anyone ever notice that the dash cluster has an 'eco' light on it? Just curious what this is for... never noticed it until I looked at a pic I took of my instant economy the other day...

Equinox has ECO button that shifts in to higher gear at lower rpm.

I hadn't thought about the hybrids sharing a cluster.

Would be kind of nice to have an eco button on these. My wifes Sonata has one and gets about 3 mpg better in the city with it on.

I've never seen it come on, I drive my father's 08 Yukon Hybrid from time to time and just had it for 18 days.
