Easy way to smooth textured flares??

Anyone know an easy way to smooth textured Z71 flares so I don't have to spend forever doing them? I absolutely hate the look of the crappy texture against the black body..

Sanding is the only way I know.

Well I know I need to sand it, but is there any attachment for a drill or anything like that to make it faster?



What about a high build primer, then sand that, sealer, base, then clear?
