Dude... What the hell?!?!?! Got pulled over!

SO I am sitting at the traffic light first car in line center lane and I see a police motorman (motorcycle cop) turn in front of me and then pull into the 7-11. I don't think anything of it and all of a sudden as I am looking around and I see him now behind me!! I'm like great here we go! As soon as the light turns green.... woop woop! So I pull into the gas station and he walks up and starts harrassing me about my tints.... When he finally looks at me, he realizes he knows me, so I am lucky no ticket.... But this is why!!

Check out my before & after pics .... I drove the truck for 3 months like the before pic and never got stopped and the after pic 1WEEK!!!!

um if you didnt get a ticket why are you complaining ?

so you have had tint, which appears to be illegal in your state and you never got stopped up until now. Sounds lucky to me, not profiling. More like the cop just doing his job.

edit: i got a tint ticket 3 weeks ago after driving w/ tint for 11 months and never getting stopped, possibly my Cragar steelies ?

Well in Miami.. most of the 22's and up are on dunks! So I guess the white guy driving the Yukon with the dark tints and 22's was suspicious....

And I wasn't complaining, just thought it was funny that I put the 22's on and then get stopped but dont get stopped with the stock 16's... tints haven't changed only the wheels!

i get stopped all the time for tints and tinted tail lights and blue marker lights, but my father is a cop , so they do not write me tickets. i have been stopped 5 times , not 1 ticket!!

Thank you ! That's exactly what I was talking about, I know the tints are illegal and I as well as my mother are both cops.... That's what made it even funnier... maybe I should have pointed that out originally....

not a cop yet. Work for the PD and am what they call neighborhood services here. Still have a badge and can give out tickets though lol. Its a good foot in the door. If all goes well I should be a full fledged cop by the end of the year. The city board wanted to see how well we would do with one less cop after the last one left, so far everyone is having to pick up alot of slack
