I always use the remote unlock to unlock my door, however I tried with the key and the key wouldn't turn at all (driver side door). Can anyone start me out on where I should be looking?

Thanks

Most likely a bad lock/cylinder. It might be broke inside and therefore it will no longer turn.

First thing I'd do is take off the door panel and make sure the rod for the lock is connected properly.

you can take the door vent off thats just below the door latch to look up in there without taking all the panel off but, if you gotta replace the lock actuator your gonna have to take it all apart

Thanks guys. I'll check it out. The lock was never used (always used the remote to unlock the door) so I doubt the actuator could have broke or seized. Since I can't turn the key at all, it makes sense that a rod is out of place.

If you go poking around, let me know how you make out. It is raining over here, so I have to wait.

I have the exactly same problem. My suspicion is that everything is rustet. I doubt the previous owner ever used these locks, and only the remote.
I am going to take a look at it, but let me know what you find out.

Well, I want to have this sorted out. Hate that day if the battery is flat, and I am not able to open the doors.
Can not reach the battery either, since the hood can only be opened from inside.
