I have an 08 LTZ Tahoe and my right rear door does not lock or unlock automatically anymore. Should I just take it to the dealer or remove the door panel and try to fix it myself?

How do I remove this damn door panel?!?

Take it to the dealer. I had this problem on my 08 with the drivers door. I dont remember off the top of my head what it was now but I think it was in the computer. Is it all the time or just some of the time?

Take it to the dealer if it's under warranty still. If you try to do it yourself and the dealer finds out that you removed the panel yourself, they can try to use that to deny your warranty.

It happens all the time. If I lock it manually, it will not unlock using the key fob or the power lock buttons up front and vice versa. I knew taking it to the dealer would be best, just sucks that I haven't even had it a year yet and already have a minor problem.

did you get this problem solved yet?

my driver door will not lock or unlock with the key fob.

I am afraid to go to the dealer though because I swapped out the front door handle with a back door handle to avoid another break in.
