Did a "LS" trim have remote door locks?

I only have a single key, no key fobs, for my recent ebay find '97 Tahoe LS ... I see plenty of key fob remotes on ebay/amazon so I don't mind picking up a couple, but how do I know for sure if this year/trim level even had remote locking? Thank you!

Hey Jeff
Dont know if my info will help but my 97 yukon doesn't have remote access. I have 2 keys only no fobs. Can central lock from both front doors and rear door.
Think an alarm install will give me remote access.
Cheers

Alarm system is the best solution , i had a Viper system installed on my 2000 and also on my 2013. Has remote start (up to 3/4 miles), lock, lift gate remote (not an issue for your ride I know, but a nice feature). You have a nice looking ride BTW.

I think you can find it if you google but to program the remotes you use a jumper wire at the ALDL. If you use the jumper and your locks cycle I'd say you have keyless remote option.
