Anyone else run into this problem? I got a set of Depo projectors for my Tahoe. As I was driving last night, I noticed the beam 'bouncing' a little bit. Sure enough, it seems the assemblies aren't sitting as tight as the stock assemblies, so they beams bounce a little bit every time I go over bumps. Not too big a deal right now since I have the Silverstars in there, but I'm sure it'll bother me a ton more once I put HID's in tomorrow night.

Anyone else run into this? Any recommended fixes for it?

Wrap a little electrical tape around the metal posts that lock in the lights to the truck, might have a little slop in there, might be enought to take enough out!

I don't think it's the posts themselves, as they slid in with a little bit of effort. Honestly after looking at them again this afternoon, it almost looks like the entire assembly has some flex to it. But, the electrical tape is worth a shot. Maybe the top holes are loose, but the bottoms are snug and that's what's causing the flex.

Was hoping Rollin Thunder or nytahoe would chime in, as these are the projectors that they recommended in another thread.

Its those little black brackets on the back. What you need to do is either hot glue them. Or if your lucky like me. When I put the HIDS in the extra room behind the housing was taken up by all the extra wires and it stopped them from moving period. But I know what your talking about.

So I put the HID's in, the bounce is still there. After examining the lights a little bit more, I figured it'd mainly from the inside bracket (closer to center of truck) on each one. That bracket does not tie down to the base of the assembly, so it seems that's where the flex is coming from. I'm going to try to figure a fix this weekend, but seems like some hot glue and some kind of angle bracket is going to be in play. When I get it figured out, hopefully it will be a quick fix, I'll post pics for anyone who is having this issue.

If the weather clears up this weekend, I figured out how I'm going to fix them (some tape, Liquid Nails, Loctite, and maybe $2 in parts), but driving last night there was no noticeable bounce in the lights. Maybe the HID wiring shifted enough to firm it up, which kinda makes me want to not mess with them, but I'll still do the write-up for those that will be getting these, but staying with standard bulbs.
