Did you see the work bench order form to verify ?

Yes. I signed a copy of it before they released the order for build. Says:
Order Type: SRE - Retail Sold

Strange. Maybe they have to input it somewhere else. Mine never showed up. Guess if the dealer hopes to sell it from underneath you or they think you may not take delivery they let it post up online.

I'm guessing it happens for one or both of these reasons:
1. Laziness
2. Average Joe is unaware of the high demand/low supply situation. Calls on vehicles they find online. Now the dealer has a potential client.
