So the “dark titanium” on the upper part of my dash seems to chip and scratch very easily. It’s looking pretty worn around the radio, even though I use the proper plastic pry tools. I’m hoping to touch up a few spots, was wondering if anyone knows a paint that is a good match.
Thanks!
Cyrus

That doesn’t seem right. It seems like the interior is painted or dyed over a black standard interior.

Looks like some wear from popping off the trim around head unit. For my avalanche seats, I used LVP, and it matched. GM light titanium was color - about 20 bones on amz...

Yes it does. Is that not how they get it gray? I have no other reason to think the dash has been tampered with.

Lovely. I guess that’s one way to control costs vs. running molds with different colored materials.

GM inventories could stock all black dashes in the warehouse until demand necessitated pulling some to paint a specific color.

The brown leather dash on our 09 Platinum is black with a lot of contact adhesive underneath. The leather has done a great job of keeping the dash from cracking (knocking on wood).

Here’s my 02 dash I recently stripped and painted. They start as black textured plastic.
