Computer upgrades?

Hey guys hows it going? Im new to the page and im trying to get some input on a few things for Scarlett ( 2011 yukon denali xl ). Im currently building a 427 for it and im wanting to keep all the interior functional. Im curious if I can run the stock computer and tune it or if I should put an aftermarket system in? I would guesd you could retune it . Check with Blackbear.

The stock computer is actually quite capable from my understanding. However with a motor like that what are you trying to accomplish? (Ie. Drag, big hp dd?)

Any specs ur willing to share?

Its getting a Eagle Forged 4.000" crank and H-Beam rods. Mahle forged 4.125" pistons and Clevite bearings along with ARP bolts. PRW Platinum high inertia flexplat, PRW pedestals and Rockers. Low Pro intake with a 102MM throttle body. Still looking at different Cams but LS7 lifters for sure.

U going any kind of FI?

Biggest hurdle I’ve heard of was the MAF sensors ability to read above a maximum airflow. Will that apply to your motor idk. It can be tuned around though.

I don’t think there are too many people here with combos like that. There’s some info if ya dig long enough tho
