Chase's (BigBearDenali) cluster upgrade

So Chase @Bigbeardenali1992 sent me his cluster to get redone with new stepper motors, blue LEDs, and a new gauge overlay and blue needles that he supplied. Here's a few pictures of the fun!

Here's what I started with:

And then I had to remove the old "x25" stepper motors to install the newer style and more reliable "x27" stepper motors. So I unsoldered all the stepper motors and the light bulbs (to get ready for the LEDs)

And now with the new "x27" motors all soldered on

And then moved on to the LED strips...

And here's a few with the LEDs lit up.
These are with the stock overlay and needles.

And then I wanted to see how it looks with the stock black Esky overlay and the blue needles that Chase sent me to install.

And now, with the white Esky style gauge overlay and stock white needles.

And then here is the final product, white gauge face and blue needles. So, what do you guys think? I have to admit, I like the white face and blue needles the best.

Yup,..looks great !

It does look really good. Only thing is that i can see all the idiot lights without them being lit up...brights, cel, awd, tire, o/d...etc.... blinker cutout would be fine but why didnt they just blank out the rest? maybe white overlay is too thick for light to shine thru... i like the white with blue tho... looks good. Nice work Scott, good choice Chase....
