I have an 02 Yukon XL did an aftermarket radio install I have no sound I do not have a Bose system I do not have OnStar and I also do not have steering wheel controls I have cut the pink wire and hooked it up to the remote wire from new radio and still no sound I have even ran a jumper wire straight from the battery to the pink wire and still no sound I called local car stereo place they said the part I need is $120 has anyone had this problem and fixed it without spending that much $$$

The part you probably need is an hour of labor at $120 to rewire it.
If you are using a new head unit and don't have any bose system, then you should be able to just swap the head unit with the correct wiring and be on your way..
Are you getting power and no sound?

Why would you jump the wire to the battery if you are getting power?

I think we can figure this out.. I'd hold off on paying that much until we try a few things, and figure out whats going on here.
