:weld: I thought you were posting up a big notch? lol.

I know GroceryGetter did a small notch, don't see him on here much anymore. But he is local to me, and think he just did a half circle notch, not sure what size. But looked like alot less work. Cut & grind frame, weld in a half circle. He would know more about it tho

Trick 28 did you cut all into the inside through the floor for your notch? ..how big is that half pipe? Will it give me enough clearance for an 8" drop?

i think you'll have more issues with the rear end hitting the body floor. have you done the free travel mod and all that yet? i am on bags and can go down to about where my fender touches my tire and i am still not on the frame. i have air ride tech bag kit and running 22s, 305-45/22

I may be notching mine soon for about 8" of static drop. Best way is to get some 6" diameter .250 wall pipe, cut it in half, loosen front body mounts, remove rears, plate the top of the frame with some 1/4" or larger plate, box in the frame, install low profile bumpstops on axle. I'd look at fabricating a new panhard mount and move the sway bar mounts too. I'm pretty happy with my 4/6 with helper bags but it is a ***** to get these things any lower.
