Going to get one from Harbor Freight as much as I don't want to but the price is real good. $80 for a 3 ton.

My question is the maximum lift height is 18 3/4" will that be high enough to get the tires off? I measured from the ground to the frame it was 11". Seems like it will be close with 16" rims.

18" would barely get the front tires of the ground on my truck and mine is stock.

I use a 20".

Harbor freight...you get what you pay for. I've hand the same floor jack for over 30yrs. and I only had to kit the pump once. sure it was $200 back then, but worth every penny. you cant beat made in the USA!
