Got a 2017 Tahoe last month to replace our 2015, and the thing rides like crap. Shakes often, but most noticeably when going up a hill around 40 mph. Took it to the dealer this morning. They did replace a mid exhaust pipe clamp that was not seated, but they acknowledged it was still doing it after a road test. Very frustrating.

does it have the buffeting issue as well? What wheel size does it have and did you have any of these issues with the 2015?

It is very unfortunate to have a $55,000 vibrating/ buffeting vehicle. It sucks. 2015 Yukon XL here. However, it won't end there. Our vehicles are enduring enhanced wear due to this vibration. The vibes, harmonics, and frequencies have to be soaked up by something, and unfortunately, it will more than likely be close tolerance parts that take the beating. Something's got to give........ GM, it's been more than two years.........it's embarrassing.

I had the same strong vibration, even more distinct in V4 mode that it felt that the truck was driving over rumble strips. The dealership diagnosed it as a torque converter problem. Took a day to swap out and test, and it has been flawless since. This is a 15.5 Yukon XL Denali.

Sorry for the delay. I don't believe it has that issue, but am not sure. They finally came up with a service bulletin on it. pip5457b

They say GM is aware of the issue, but don't know how to resolve it yet.
