I just replaced my postive battery cable. I had problems with slow starts/intermittent electrical problems. The nail in the coffin was when I put it in park and it would die as if someone unplugged it. It is a cheap part and you can try yourself without dealing with the dealer. Give that a try. 14mm deep socket and a 10mm ratchewt wrench... done
