I'll be honest though. If i had not already done that and I was looking to replace brakes now I would definitely try to do the 2020 brakes. It does not appear to be much more expensive and I already have stock 20's so I'd imagine clearing them would not be terribly difficult.

Really like the idea, but I appreciate the simplicity of the NBS to NNBS upgrade being 100% bolt-on. No shims / washers needed. No trimming of the calipers needed. Just not sure it’s worth it for a 1/2” larger rotor. I suppose the biggest advantage is the 4 vs 2 pistons, but I’m also skeptical this is really necessary to grab the rotor. I think the limitation might be tire-related at this point.
I agree going from a 12 inch nbs to a 13 inch nnbs made alot better braking power to me,for almost the same cost and redoing the stock stuff.I am interested in anyone with the nnbs upgrade done and going to the new 2020 upgrade-what real world difference does it make. After 2 yrs of driving with the nnbs i say about a 30% better braking with the set up.The goodridge lines were about 20-30% better feel in the brake pedal and made it feels stronger and safer. So the 2020 silverado upgrade would have to be alot better than the nnbs upgrade i have on now for me to switch again.

X2. I recently upgraded to the NNBS calipers, and stainless lines all around. I waited until I needed front brakes anyway to do it, so, of course, there’s a dramatic difference. Then a couple weeks ago, the rears needed to be done. I wasn’t planning to upgrade them to the Powerstop Z36 kit, but then changed my mind, and even got the red powder coated calipers.
All around, I’m very happy with the NNBS + stainless lines + Z36 upgrades. It’s night and day from the factory brakes. (I also have vacuum boost, not hydroboost)

No worries. I got these:

Rear: https://www.powerstop.com/product/power-stop-z36-brake-kit-calipers/
Front: https://www.powerstop.com/product/power-stop-z36-brake-kit-calipers/

Also used the Goodridge kit for the stainless lines, but most of us have had trouble / needed a fix for the center-rear line not being deep enough to not leak. Goodridge is aware of this, and will provide the needed part if you contact them. Or you can go with another company.
