Thanks for the input ya'll. The running boards ARE from a 09 LTZ but they didnt include the chrome trim. I don't know why the parts department gave me that diagram but I was happy to get any info from them whatsoever. Just to clarify, does anyone remember if the bolt nearest the drivers door is longer than the rest? It has a different item code and the picture below shows it to be different. The bolts along the top side of the picture all appear to be the same as the bolts that hold the bracket in place. The bolts from underneath, however, appear to be longer maybe?

Hmm.... I don't recall. That front piece is goofy (I don't know why the boards come in two pieces). It's not load-bearing -- the hangers take all of the stepping load -- so, I don't think that bolt is particularly different from the others. But, obviously, there's something different about it, as shown by the different item number. I have no time to check mine today, but maybe can tomorrow.

MUCH appreciated. The boards are just laying in the back of my tahoe, no room in the apartment for these things so I would love to get them on soon

What are the bolt sizes for #10 and #2?
I'm dealing with the same issue. I purchased running boards and it came with the brackets but no bolts. Good info on top bolts, thanks!

Here are those bolts you gonna need

8 x M8-1.25 x 30mm with 24mm washer
10 x M6-1.00 x 17mm with 24mm washer
8 x M12- 1.50 stud with M6-1.00 inner threads (these may come w/running boards
2 x M8-1.25 x 50mm with 31.5mm washer
Make sure you get stainless steel or good grade bolts/washers because they will tend to rust

I hope this helps
