Bluetooth stays connected after exiting vehicle

Have you tried locking you’re car? Once I lock my car then everything powers down for good and Bluetooth disconnects. Was the same with my other than GM branded cars too.

My searching is a little off at the moment, but I know for sure this exact thing has been discussed here before.

Maybe somebody can find it better than I seem to be.

I tried the neighbors I-phone and it did the same thing. If My wife shuts off the bluetooth.... well she will forget to turn back on.

So this does sound like a GM Thing. Maybe some recent update.
The dealership said it is all current and there are currently no updates.

Spent some time on the phone with GM. They said this is a "Known Issue" with some later model GM products and weirdly enough the 2009 Silverado. They took the serial numbers and logged a fix with a note to a technical service bulletin for the Tech. They said I need to have the Bluetooth updated and this should fix it. We will see.
