I'm trying to see if it is possible to add bluetooth to my factory radio in my 05 Tahoe. It is a single cd player w/ cassette deck. I've been told there is some kind of way to add it, but don't want to have a nightmare trying to install it. Thanks .

I know they make cassette bluetooth adapters, not sure how well they work. I think you can also add one to the auxiliary port on the back of the unit also.

Is that one of the things they call plug and play?

The cassette adapter is, I believe. Not sure about the aux port, I think you need to do some research. Try Google search. Or maybe someone else who has it will chime in. I know I've seen it discussed here.

Might not be ready for when you need this, but one of our members @Matthew Jeschke has been engineering his own solution...

He has made some good progress!

Cheapest way for the non satellite radio vehicles i have the shown bluetooth adapter in my tahoe, but i tied it into the satellite radio. You could just use the tape player for the same end result

You could get the PAC which gives you two rca inputs and then use one for the Bluetooth by getting a Bluetooth to RCA Adapter and the other for 3.5mm. I remember having in my 2003 Escalade a module that I would hold down the prog switch on the steering wheel to make it work.
