GM# is the same as the acdelco#. gm#84176631 is just the strut only does not come with anything else.

Thank you. The acdelco part through rock auto is less than half the cost. Do you see a reason not to buy the part from rock auto?

remember gm buys from the vender and marks it up. rockauto.com buys in bulk, so there able to sell at a lower cost. i would go with rockauto for the same gm part and half the price.

17 Yukon Denali 4x4. Passenger front strut is leaking. GM dealer says they’re $1200 per strut plus install. Local repair shop says they’re $750 a strut plus install. Rock auto has them for about $310 per strut.

Am I missing something? Are the dealer and repair shop strut replacements different than the AC Delco ones available from rock auto for 1/4 of the cost?

No they're not any different my friend. I own a '15 Suburban LTZ and I buy all my parts from Rockauto. You can buy from them with confidence because it's the same dealer part. Actually some dealers have internet sales where they sell the same parts online for almost half the price you would pay if you walked into their parts department and bought it.

I just replaced my front and rear struts with these on my 16 Yukon. Swapping them out wasn’t to difficult. They ride great but I cant comment on durability as they have only been installed for a week.
