17 Yukon Denali 4x4. Passenger front strut is leaking. GM dealer says they’re $1200 per strut plus install. Local repair shop says they’re $750 a strut plus install. Rock auto has them for about $310 per strut.

Am I missing something? Are the dealer and repair shop strut replacements different than the AC Delco ones available from rock auto for 1/4 of the cost?

Buy direct from Arnott. Take to local shop for install. Done.

Arnott lifetime warranty is best through the owner, NOT the shop. Obviously your lifetime is longer than anyone else’s lifetime when it comes time to passing non transferable warranty to another owner.

It’s not uncommon for Arnott to yank a resellers warranty privileges for abuse. Yea that can leave u hanging if the installer closes or gets in trouble. This could also include Rock Auto as you’d have to exchange it through them, not Arnott.

Arnott is constantly improving their product, GM sees you as bait to keep them in business. They’re a damn fine company as they even pay for shipping when purchased through them.

We run them on our 02 6MT Audi allroad and 08 Denali XL. They’ve paid for themselves several times over.

I don’t see the front struts listed. Maybe I’m not looking in the correct place?

Uh oh, I confirm the same. It’s not going to be pretty if there’s no aftermarket options that don’t break the bank.

you should be able to just buy the shock portion of the front strut, then have the spring compressed and replace the shock

I wonder what the difference between the GM part and the acdeclo part is?

Does the GM part come assembled with spring?
