WrenchGuy's big 3 writeup
Dumb question but what is the negative lead in the 10th image (3rd from the bottom) in the plastic sheilding connected to. Is it wired to the first battery or the Alt? @WrenchGuy could you explain?

What length of wire is needed for each? I'm going to be installing an aftermarket stereo and need to order power and ground wire, want to knock this out while I'm at it, so I want to order enough (in different colors as well)

I just did the big 3 on mine. I'd say get 7ft of ground wire and 3 ft of power, just to be safe and depending on where you are running your grounds to. I used 1/0 OFC and it was a big difference with windows, turn signals, etc. My volt gauge doesn't move anymore at all.
